Education

I’m a former college softball player, dog lover, ice cream enthusiast, and physical therapist.

I’ve had the opportunity to treat patients in a variety of settings including orthopedics, geriatrics, and pelvic floor physical therapy, but pelvic floor PT truly has my heart.

After experiencing my own pelvic floor challenges, I realized just how powerful this area of physical therapy can be in changing someone’s life. It opened my eyes to how many women are silently struggling with symptoms that affect their daily lives — and how much better they can feel with the right support.

I love helping women take charge of their health, whether that means recovering after pregnancy, improving pelvic floor function, or returning to exercise and sport. After working in larger physical therapy clinics, I became frustrated with how little time and attention many patients received, and how often insurance companies dictated the care that was provided. I also became more aware of how many women tend to put everyone else before themselves when it comes to their own health and self-care.

That’s why I created Built to Move Physical Therapy and Wellness, to provide high-quality, one-on-one care in a supportive environment where women feel heard, understood, and empowered. My goal is to help women take charge of their health, move with confidence, and feel strong in their bodies again.
