Individualized Physical Therapy For Women

OUR MISSION

At Built to Move, we help women feel strong, confident, and at home in their bodies through personalized pelvic floor and orthopedic physical therapy. Our mission is to support women through every stage of life with thoughtful, 1 on 1 care that improves movement, reduces pain, and builds lasting strength.

We take the time to truly listen to your story, your concerns, and your goals so we’re not just treating symptoms, but addressing the root cause of pain or dysfunction and helping prevent it from coming back.

This is more than physical therapy. It’s about helping you trust your body again, move with confidence, and get back to the activities you love.

We start with a full-body assessment to identify changes in your core, pelvic floor, and posture, including diastasis recti and rib cage positioning. We’ll address symptoms like back or neck pain, core weakness, pelvic pain, and  bladder leakage. You’ll learn how to properly engage your pelvic floor and deep core to rebuild strength and support your return to the activities you love.

Orthopedic & Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy

We focus on reducing pain, restoring movement, and getting you back to the activities you enjoy. We address issues such as joint pain, muscle strains, tendon injuries, and post-surgical recovery with a personalized, one-on-one approach. Your treatment plan is designed to improve strength, mobility, and function while addressing the root cause of your pain, not just the symptoms.

WHO IT'S FOR

  • You’re pregnant and want to work out safely while staying ahead of common aches and pains

  • You’re managing an injury and need a training program that adapts to your current limitations
  • You want a personalized strength program built around your specific goals

  • You’re postpartum, have completed pelvic floor physical therapy, and want a structured plan to safely progress your workouts

  • You want expert guidance to improve strength, movement quality, and long-term resilience

We start with a full-body assessment to understand your movement patterns, strength, mobility, and any pain or symptoms you're experiencing that’s holding you back. This helps us create a personalized plan that actually fits your goals—no cookie-cutter approaches here.

We lay the foundation with proper breathing mechanics and core coordination. This is especially important postpartum or for anyone with pelvic floor dysfunction, back pain, or diastasis recti.

We target areas of tightness or weakness to help you move better and reduce compensations. Whether it's hip, pelvic, or spinal mobility, this stage is about building a strong and supportive foundation.
